Traditional Process
This approach requieres lots of labor work and specialized equipment.
Bee frames need to be transported into dedicated workshop and using centrifugal extractor – honey finally flows into containers
MyHive Process
Using MyHive design – honey is extracted directly at the apiary location
Frames do not need to be taken out and transported because self-emptying mechanism allows to extract the honey directly from the hive
Transport is eliminated as the self emptying mechanism does all the work inside the hive
This significantly reduces amount of work needed and eliminates a need of having specialized equipment and dedicated workshop
Additionally – honey extraction does not interfere with bees routine and can be performed at any time of a day
